MEET THE DOCTORS

Dr. William E. Chen, founder and CEO of Chen Dental in Sebring, Florida, is a Highlands County native who established his practice in 2005 after earning his D.M.D. from the University of Florida. Over the past two decades, he has grown Chen Dental into a leading practice serving more than 14,000 patients annually from across the U.S. and beyond, earning multiple honors including nine “Best Dentist” titles and several business and leadership awards. Deeply committed to giving back, Dr. Chen has raised over $600,000 for local and national charities and integrates strong financial and biblical principles into his work and community efforts. He also founded Chen Dental Lab, the first in-office digital lab in Highlands County, and serves as President of the Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Outside the office, Dr. Chen enjoys an active life filled with surfing, fishing, and family adventures with his wife, Geri, and their three sons.

Dr. Seralde was raised in Highlands County and graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 2002. Our goal is to continue to provide you with superior care and service as we expand our office. Dr. Seralde was specifically selected by Dr. Chen for his extensive experience in dental implant procedures and cosmetic dentistry. Additionally, he is certified in Invisalign and Lumineers.

Dr. Seralde lives in Sebring, Florida with his wife and three sweet daughters and enjoys camping, photography and spending time with his family.

Dr. Kenneth Chen was born and raised in Avon Park and graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 2005. Since then, he has used his skills to provide his patients with excellent, friendly, and compassionate care. His extensive and ongoing dental training and experience includes many hours of continuing education courses in advanced dental techniques and technology.

Dr. Chen enjoys spending time with his wife and young daughter along with surfing, running, and model airplane building and flying.

Dr. Ward was born and raised in Central Florida and graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. Growing up, Dr. Ward always enjoyed working with his hands. Through encouragement from his dad, who is also a dentist, he decided to become a dentist to take his passion for hands-on work to restore patients’ smiles in Highlands County!

When Dr. Ward isn’t working on patients, he loves time with his family, playing board games and he loves water sports! He especially enjoys wake boarding and tubing!

Dr. Huffman was born and raised in Central Florida and graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. Since she has a heart for serving her community, and has always enjoyed working with her hands, Dr. Huffman decided to pursue dentistry so she could do both as her career!  In her free time, she loves playing pickleball (and getting other team members to join in on the fun) and spending time with her family and her dog, Coconut.
